All About Striped Bass

Chesapeake Bay Program has a video out on Stripers.  It's not bad, but a little dry.  I'll take issue with one point that he made, that a "unique" feature of juvenile Striped Bass is that they are dark on top and light on bottom, to be less visible to predators from above and below.  This is called counter shading, and it's an extremely common color pattern in fish in well lighted waters (not so much in the abyss).
