Beach Report 7/12/15

Another partly cloudy day down at the beach. Temperatures were about 80 F, the wind minimal, and the humidity on the way up, but all in all, pretty good for July.
A little bit of butterfly action. This is Horace's Duskywing, one of the open wing skippers. They've been very common in the past week or so in the garden.
And the American Snout. I mostly find these at the beach. They do a damn fine imitation of a dead leaf.
A tug pushing a barge loaded with rock or gravel down the bay.

Poor man's crabbing, using a dip net to pick them off of rocks and pilings.
The rowing man goes for a row. He does this almost every day.
