New Emails Show Clinton Promoted Blumenthal Interests in Libya
The House Select Committee on Benghazi will be making public next week new documents that demonstrate Sidney Blumenthal was seeking business in Libya as he was advising then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on U.S. policy in the country. According to a letter from Chairman Trey Gowdy to Elijah Cummings, the ranking Democrat on the committee, at least once Clinton sought to aid Blumenthal's business interests in Libya.

The 13-page letter also details new concerns about compromised security on Clinton's email, noting that in one unsecured email Blumenthal appears to name a top CIA source in Libya --a revelation that could compromise the safety of that source if it became known publicly.
And more from Hotair: Newly discovered e-mails suggest Clinton influenced by Blumenthal’s business in Libya
At the time, Blumenthal was pushing for an American military intervention, but not exactly for altruistic reasons. His first point in his argument, and his fifth point out of five as well, was a 2011 Quinnipiac poll showing Obama down 41/50 for re-election. “No time for panic,” Blumenthal wrote, “[t]ime to prevent panic.” Blumenthal further argued that stopping a massacre in Benghazi wouldn’t be enough to win an election, because “seeking gratitude from people … soon reaches a counter-productive point.” Blumenthal then tells Hillary this:

At this point, Gowdy notes in his letter, Hillary forwards this to Jake Sullivan, saying that “I agree about the need to keep the attack tempo up.” Note that this exceeded the stated mission for the US and NATO in Libya, transforming it from a genocide-prevention operation to a full-blown war of regime change on Qaddafi. The motivation, at least as expressed to Hillary and then forwarded by her to her team, appears to be entirely related to the need to look tough for the re-election campaign.
Muslim Brotherhood official, former Clinton Foundation employee arrested in Cairo
A senior Muslim Brotherhood official who, until recently, had been employed by the William J. Clinton Foundation was arrested in Cairo on Tuesday and charged with inciting violence.

Gehad el-Haddad served as one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s top communications officials until Egyptian security forces seized him as part of a wider crackdown on officials loyal to ousted former President Mohamed Morsi.

Before emerging as a top Brotherhood official and adviser to Morsi, el-Haddad served for five years as a top official at the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit group founded by former President Bill Clinton.

El-Haddad gained a reputation for pushing the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist agenda in the foreign press, where he was often quoted defending the Brotherhood’s crackdown on civil liberties in Egypt.

He was raised in a family of prominent Brotherhood supporters and became the public face of the Islamist organization soon after leaving his post at the Clinton Foundation.
And speaking of the Muslim Sisterhood: It's Chelsea vs Huma! The two competitive, power-hungry women vying to become Hillary Clinton's official First LADY
Guess who's coming to state dinners and other official White House functions as first lady if Hillary wins the presidency?

The top two contenders on Clinton's very secret potential first lady list are her close aide and controversial confidante, Huma Abedin, and popular former first daughter, Chelsea Clinton-Mezvinsky, Daily Mail Online can report exclusively.

A Clinton campaign source revealed that Chelsea and Huma 'are being seriously discussed' for the first lady spot.

'Hillary firmly believes both Huma and Chelsea can handle the duties of the first lady with aplomb,' said the source.

'But in the end she also knows it can be as big a decision to make as selecting her vice presidential running mate because the personality and image of the first lady can be a key to the success of an administration.

Hillary Clinton Supporters Were Asked About Her "White Privilege Tax

Because a man would have to be stupid or crazy to vote for her: Hillary Clinton’s Problem With Men
When Hillary Clinton entered the presidential race, she expected to win overwhelming support among women in her bid to become the first female president. Instead, she’s finding out that an unprecedented level of resistance to her candidacy among men is undermining the conventional wisdom that she’d be the strongest Democratic nominee in the general election.

Put another way: Clinton is now nearly as unpopular with men as Donald Trump is with women. That’s saying something.

The latest round of polling for Clinton is brutal. This week’s NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist survey in Iowa shows her favorability rating with men at a mere 27 percent, while two-thirds view her unfavorably. Her minus-39 net favorability with men is 28 points worse than Vice President Joe Biden and 27 points behind Sen. Bernie Sanders. The story is the same in New Hampshire, where the NBC/WSJ/Marist poll found both Sanders and Biden with net-positive ratings, while Clinton’s approval is deeply underwater, stuck at 30 percent.

Clinton heckled at Hispanic Caucus event
Hillary Clinton was briefly interrupted by a heckler during her award presentation at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s gala Thursday.

The front-runner for the Democratic nomination did not address the individual but Roselyn Sanchez, the actress and singer emceeing the event, said she didn’t know how politicians were able to keep talking while they were being yelled at.

“That was real intense, my Puerto Rican temper would be like ‘excuse me?’” Sanchez said after Clinton finished presenting her award.

The protester, from United We Dream Action, was protesting private-prison corporations' donations to Clinton's campaign.

Juan Carlos Ramos issued a statement through United We Dream about why he protested.

“Our message to Hillary Clinton is simple: immigrant youth do not trust you. It is time to drop the prison money and stand with our community — you can’t have it both ways,” he said. “Each dollar of private prison money accepted by the Clinton campaign undermines her pro-immigrant policy promises, and our community will not be fooled.”
