Hugs and Kisses at the Beach

The dredge is starting work in the harbor. The sand builds up around the mouth due to longshore drift, and every year or two we have to hire a dredger to clear it so the deep draft sailboats can come and go.
It hit about 90 F today, but Skye didn't listen to me when I told her it was hot out, so after lunch we headed off to the beach. Being more intelligent, Georgia stayed home.
But despite the heat, she was in her element, sucking up to everyone in sight.
