London Bridge

isn't falling down, but there was a terror attack there yesterday where 7 people were killed and 48 wounded, when a truck struck pedestrians and 3 suspects emerged with knives and began attacking bystanders. Police responded in 8 minutes (remember, when seconds count, the police are only 8 minutes away) and shot  the attackers to death. One of the attackers cried out "This is for Allah!"

Stacy McCain notes that CNN never got around to discussing the Islamic terrorism connection:
The word “Islam” does not appear in CNN’s story about this murderous attack, leaving the reader to wonder if perhaps radical Mormons or Lutheran extremists were responsible.
while the more verbose Washington Post got it in one:
The death toll rose to seven Sunday in the latest terrorist attack to strike Britain, with Prime Minister Theresa May blaming the “evil ideology of Islamist extremism” and vowing to conduct a review of the nation’s counterterrorism laws.
The Telegraph also reported that:
Twelve people have been arrested in connection with the atrocity after an armed raid in Barking, east London. A further raid has also taken place in East Ham.

Pro-Islamic State social media users claimed the London attacks were revenge for the RAF’s "love from Manchester" air strike, according to the Site intelligence monitoring group.

A photograph emerged last week of an RAF bomb with the message “love from Manchester” written on it. It was on its way to strike Isil targets in Syria. According to Site, one Twitter user posted the image and wrote: "This is your merchandise and tonight we responded."
Like they needed an excuse. Ordinary Londoners acquitted themselves well:
Althouse notes: After the London Bridge terrorist attack, Theresa May calls for embarrassing conversations.

I'm old enough I remember when you could presume that terror attacks in the British Isles were carried out by the IRA.
